Asa trio has been active on the Icelandic jazzscene since 2005 and has released a handful of albums both as physical copies and some concert recordings as digital releases. The band has been nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards for their original work and they have collaborated with various prestigious artists. This time around they will feature a special guest, Jóel Pálsson and perform a brand new repertoire of originals written by all four of them.

Múlinn’s program is ambitious, diverse and a good example of the liveliness that characterizes the Icelandic jazz scene. Visitors can listen to top quality jazz at a reasonable price with a great view over the harbor. Múlinn is a cooperation between Félags Íslenskra Hljómlistarmanna (FÍH) and Jazzvakningar. The club is named after Jón Múli Árnason who was also an honorary member and patron of Múlinn. Múlinn was founded in the fall 1997 but the first concert took place in the beginning of 1998. Múlinn is funded by The City of Reykjavík and The Iceland Music Fund and is in collaboration with The World Music Club and Harpa.
