UniSci

Science and art

UniSci (a small educational science center at the University of Iceland) offers a range of workshops for the whole family with the emphasis on connecting science and art in various ways.

On offer will be exciting workshops for all ages, experiments, games and equipment;

  • Would you like to solder your own flashlight?
  • Apply yourself in wind turbines making and energy consumption?
  • Program your own music in Scratch and Sonic Pi?
  • Or get to know unusual instruments?

A limited number participants can attend the workshops, each lasting around 20 – 40 minute,s but there will be plenty of other things to discover, view and do whilst waiting for a free space at the workshops.

UniSci at Harpa will be open from 13-16, free entry and all welcome!

The project is funded by the Icelandic Children´s Cultural Fund (Barnamenningarsjóður).
