UniSci has opened a traveling center of workshops and installations at Harpa, Reykjavík Concert Hall and Conference Centre. During the following months the traveling center will have a regular slot in the new Children´s cultural program at Harpa and all workshops and installations will be free and open to everyone.
At UniSci, visitors of all ages can experience the amazing qualities of light, color and sound through experiments, games and unexpected discoveries.
Through lively and interactive science works of art can be drawn by a pendulum swing, bowls can sin, strange compounds made by Sprengju-Kata, and outer space explored by Stjörnu-Sævar.
Experiments, games and exciting workshops for all ages:
• Would you like to solder your own flashlight?
• Apply yourself in wind turbines making and energy consumption?
• Or get to know unusual instruments?
All this and more at the UniSci traveling center.
At UniSci we strive to make the invisible visible and sound is emitted from unexpected directions.
UniSci at Harpa is funded by the Icelandic Children´s Cultural Fund (Barnamenningarsjóður).
