HIMA 2019 – Faculty Concert: Chamber Music

The Faculty of Harpa International Music Academy are all first class musicians, some are professors at prestigious music academies or section leaders in symphony orchestras. In the concert our faculty will share their artistry by performing movements from well known chamber works for strings such as the Trout Quintet by Schubert, Brahms Sextet and Mendelssohn Octet.

Quartet Es, comprised of Anton Miller, Rita Porfiris, Ertan Torgul and Jennifer Kloetzel, who are artists in residence 2019, will as well perform two major works for string quartet, The Grosse Fugue by Beethoven and String Quartet No. 3 by Schnittke.
