Hörpudiskur is Harpas catering service. It provides a comprehensive service for conferences, meetings, celebrations and cocktails. There are plenty of open spaces in Harpa to choose from where it‘s possible to set up large and small receptions for exhibiton, music and conference guests. Hörpudiskur will offer a variety of moveable bars which can be placed in various spaces around the building. Beverages will be on offer for concert guests and it is also possible to order light refreshments at intervals if so desired.
Icelandic cooking is in the foreground at Hörpudiskur with a special emphasis on making your Iceland trip especially memorable. Our menus are seasonal with a strong emphasis on Icelandic ingredients.
The head chef at Hörpudiskur is Bjarni Gunnar Kristinsson. He has been a part of the Icelandic culinary team since 2000 and was the head of the team when it won a gold and silver medal at the culinary olympics in Erfurt, Germany in 2008.
